What requirements do plastic processors set today to up-to-date molding tools? They need to be technological, easy to maintain, need to ensure minimal production cycle with minimal reject rate, and have a guaranteed service life. In this issue we tried to answer some of these general questions in the articles of our authors, and moreover, we introduced a new interactive section “Specialist's advice”, where from now on our experts will answer to all – even informal – readers’ questions in the columns of our magazine. It is remarkable that the author of a “non-topical” article about methods used for identification of polymer materials suggests an informal, but economically viable method of determining type of plastics. What is your attitude to informal approaches to solution of these issues? You are welcome to leave your messages at firstname.lastname@example.org – we are always interested in your opinion!
