The trade show demonstrating accomplishments of modern construction industry has successfully proceeded from 10 to 13 May, 2009 in Moscow Exposition Center Krokus Expo.
The position of RUSBUILD 2009 project organizer was taken by exposition company M-Expo with the assistance of the Russian Regional Development Ministry, Russian Constructors Union, Moscow Entrepreneurs Association and Central Research and Project Institute of Building Constructions named after N.P. Melnukov.
Rusbuild 2009- is a unique exposition project uniting base segments of construction industry at the single platform. 8 special exhibitions held as a part of the project presenting accomplishments in such sectors as metal, aluminum , concretes and matrixes, polymers, glass, stone, wood, road construction as well as Russian Regional Accomplishments Exhibition attracted a great interest. The project counted as much as 500 participants from 26 CIS and non-CIS countries. Global construction brands took their stands at the exhibition area of 20000 sq. m. Metalbuild and Alumbuild visitors were enabled to discus technical and commercial issues with the leading companies of domestic and European metal industry. "Art forging and casting fair" held for the third time became a notable event of the trade show. The event was attended by more than 20 manufacturers and suppliers of forging machinery. Forging craftsmen' works were honored by special awards. Among the regular partners of Rusbuild-2009 there are Mixbuild participants which presented the best accomplishments in concrete sector. One of the key events at Rusbuild 2009 was The First All-Russian Conference of Concrete Manufacturers, which was carried on as a part of Mixbuild. The event was organized by European Technical Institute and BFT International magazine. The conference was attended by more than 200 representatives from various Russian regions who discussed Russian concrete market condition and its development prospects.
Such expositions as Woodbuild, Stonebuild, Glassbuild, Roadbuild, Polybuild drew a great attention of experts and visitors.
Polybuild-2009 unveiled latest developments and technologies of polymer materials production.
The most demanded subjects of Polybuild-2009 included finished recycled plastics products and wood-polymer products (50% of participants), honeycomb polycarbonate products (20%), rubber processing and general mechanical rubber goods (10%).
Polybuild-2009 visitors had the opportunity to consider commercial proposals from well-established companies such as Polygal Vostok LLC, Asahi trading company, Wilan LLC, MHG Maschinenfabrik Hombak GmbH, Hahn Kunststoffe GmbH, Baltiyskie berega LLC, Montazh Stroy Design Group LLC, Novie Tehnologii LLC, Reifenhaeuser GmbH & Co. Rusbuild-2009 organizers put a great emphasis on actual construction industry problems amid current economical situation. Training conferences covered such topics as "Measures for minimizing crisis effect in construction industry", Nanatechnologies in construction: new market opportunities", "Usage of steel frameworks in unique buildings and mass construction", "Welding and related technologies in building and facility construction", "Wood-polymer composites (WPC)".
According to questionnaire survey estimates, Rusbuild-2009 was acknowledged as successful: it satisfied expectations of 95% of participants and visitors. More than 30% of participated companies conclude contracts during the trade show.
