Kreyenborg periphery: working without material losses  #9 (55), 2007

One of the world leading suppliers of systems for the extruder ancillaries presents its wide product range at K-2007 in Duesseldorf

Kreyenborg V-type screen changer for volume constant melt filtrationAt K-2007 fair Kreyenborg will demonstrate innovative improvements for equipment essential for plastics processing industry for decades.
Kreyenborg, as one of the world market leaders in the field of melt filtration, will show novel systems for pressure- and volume constant melt filtration. The V-type screen changer disposes of a unique concept, which solves the problem of the material loss during backflushing by means of a hydraulic displacement principle. By using a displacement tappet at every screen cavity the backflush is dosed in a better way and the material removal is elongated over a longer period. In combination with Kreyenborg melt pumps this system can be applied for very sensitive applications and thereby permits the use of up to 100% of recycling material.  Also in order to compensate the material removal during the backflush, the melt reservoir has been developed. In combination with a screen changer and a control technicaKreyenborg infra-red drum IRD with switched on radiator modulelly integrated melt pump this system also provides for a pressure- and volume-constant melt filtration.
Kreyenborg will also demonstrate completely revised line of melt pumps. Besides an extension of the product spectrum the complete product range has been improved in flexibility and wear protection.
With the new generation of the Kreyenborg infra-red drum it is linked to the successful use of infra-red radiation in the thermal bulk material handling. Contrary to conventional processes, this system extremely reduces the residence time and the energy consumption due to more effective radiator modules and a comfortable control concept.
Being a specialist in underwater pelletizing systems, BKG (Bruckmann & Kreyenborg Granuliertechnik, a Kreyenborg Group division) presents a number of Complex CrystallCut line® by BKGsuch systems with centrifugal dryer and control. Another device to be demonstrated at K is the inline crystallisation CrystallCut® system for PET processing. It is especially environmentally sound and energy saving, which permits pelletizing and crystallising of PET in one step, without the necessity of supplying additional energy. 

For the first time BSG (Bruckmann Steuerungstechnik GmbH, the automation specialist in the Kreyenborg Group) will be represented at the K fair with its own booth. The company will present its new One concept which presupposes a complete system for the line automation. It offers a solution ranging from the simple local operating unit, via the visualisation system for several lines in one master display and recording of process data to the exchange of data with MES/ERP systems. BSG presents itself in hall 09 at booth 9A55..
