Wittmann with powerful competence at the Plagkem 2011
From 12 to 15 April, the WITTMANN group presented its competence in the fields of both injection molding machinery and peripheral equipment to interested trade visitors at the Plagkem in Celje, Slovenia.
The company’s competence in the area of machinery and equipment for injection molding of plastics was demonstrated at the Plagkem on a machine of the EcoPower series from Wittmann Battenfeld. At the Plagkem, Wittmann Battenfeld demonstrated the functionality of the EcoPower with an EcoPower 110/350. It was manufacturing a housing cover made of ABS. The parts were removed and deposited on a conveyor belt by a W823 WITTMANN robot. The company’s competence in the area of peripheral equipment weas on display with numerous exhibits, in addition to the robot integrated in the EcoPower. A DRYMAX E60-150-M dryer was shown, on which a FEEDMAX S3 Primus loader is mounted. The DRYMAX E dryer series includes appliances with dry air outputs ranging from 30 to 1,200 m?/h and is available with numerous optional extras. The new FEEDMAX Primus is the optimal low-price conveying system for flexible feeding of materials in small quantities up to 120 kg/h in continuous operation. A FEEDMAX B325 loader was also on display. The conveying systems of the FEEDMAX B series are designed for ultimate functional reliability and demanding applications in central conveying systems. The E-max control system for conveyance of loose materials rounds off the materials handling portfolio. This new generation of control systems allows the administration of up to 24 loaders, up to 2 vacuum pumps or 1 stand-by pump with automatic switchover, as well as the control of bypass valves, filter cleaning and purging valves. Further equipment shown at the Plagkem includes Minor 2 and Junior 3 granulators, a water flow regulator as well as the temperature controller models TEMPRO plus C90, TEMPRO direct C120 and TEMPRO basic C90.
