At the Interplastica 2011 show ColorMatrix presented its advanced additives and technologies for plastics processing industry including highly effective dosing system

At the Interplastica 2011 show ColorMatrix demonstrated its advanced solutions for PVC sheet extrusion, PET packaging as well as its own innovative dosing system for liquid additives. Furthermore corporate booth visitors were provided with information concerning company's contribution in solving an actual plastics processing industry issue – establishing environmental friendly production facilities. Under the current situation when sustainability acquires close attention from industry players, manufacturers are in quest for effective techniques to improve their sustainable rating. ColorMatrix products are made from organic substances and its liquid additives are made from renewable raw materials. "The ColorMatrix product portfolio is distinguished from standard dye and additive systems with its effectiveness ensuring stable and smooth production", - states Yuliya Shuleshova, Account Coordinator at ColorMatrix. – "Our technologies make final products more recyclable, ensure precise dosing and allow to cut energy consumption due to lower process temperatures i.e. reduce environmental impact". At the show a range of additives for PET packaging and PVC sheet was demonstrated including Excelite® liquid foaming agent. Excelite® developed for foamed PVC sheet production allows to reduce product weight while maintaining the quality, cut raw materials costs and ensure more clear printing and vivid image. For another thing the company presented its Amosorb SolO2 barrier oxygen scavenger and Lactra™ opaque additive designed for diary packaging. These additives can be applied jointly with MiniMetrix system ensuring exceptional dosing precision. The tailor-made mobile dosing system allows producers to reduce reject rate and increase production process efficiency. The system can be applied for the whole ColorMatrix additives range for PET and PVC processing. Simple dosing adjustment, rapid and effective color change allows to optimize cycle times and manual operation as well as to keep the workspace clean. MiniMetrix can be utilized both jointly with stationary dosing equipment and independently.
